Keeo (Paula Ridge) is the Beaver Scout Leader for the Monday Group and Zazu (Toni Cannon) is the Beaver Scout Leader for the Wednesday Group they head up the team which is entirely made up of volunteers who enjoy running beaver meetings!

Paula initially joined the group just to help out. Her son had so much fun when he was a Beaver and Paula wanted to join in! She became a leader as a way of helping out in the community, getting involved in activities both inside and outside of the scout group. Paula says “ I really enjoy being the leader of our Beaver ‘colony’ – I find it really rewarding to organise activities and to get the boys and girls in our group working for all their badges so that they can gain the Chief Scout Bronze Award”

All adult leaders have training and a CRB check, and there is always at least one adult who is first aid qualified.
